Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates applying for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE-2026) must fulfill the following criteria:

• Both male and female candidates, including minorities and differently-abled persons, who are citizens of Pakistan, are eligible.
• Applicants must be domiciled and permanent residents of Sindh Province as of 23-09-2026.
• A minimum of a 2nd Division Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Candidates holding foreign degrees must obtain an HEC Equivalence Certificate before the closing date and upload it to the online portal in the qualification section.
• The age of candidates must be between 21 to 30 years as on 01st September 2026.
• For candidates domiciled in Sindh Province who are serving in the Federal Govt. / Sindh Government with at least four years of continuous regular service as on 01st September 2026, the upper age limit is 35 years.
• Employees of Autonomous / Semi-Autonomous / Local Bodies / Adhoc / Contract are not eligible for the age concession mentioned above.

Important Instructions and Notes

• The allocation of posts will be based on the number of available positions in different departments and the order of options exercised by the candidates.
• Manual application forms will not be accepted.
• In compliance with the Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan’s order in Suo Moto Case No. 18/2016 dated 13.03.2017, the CCE has been regularized on an annual basis, and the condition of three attempts has been applied effective from CCE-2019.
• Rules, revised syllabus, and recommended books are available on the SPSC website (www.spsc.gov.pk).
• Quota for female, minorities, and differently-abled persons will be applied as per the policy of the Government of Sindh.
• The examination will be held in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Larkano. The Commission reserves the right to modify the list of centers based on the number of candidates.
• If any candidate fails to appear in any one paper, they will not be allowed to appear in subsequent papers.
• As per the amendment to Regulation 74, Sub-regulation (2), Clause (iii) of RMR-2023, the qualifying criteria for the screening test of the CCE have been amended: 33 Percent marks (66 marks) shall be substituted with 40 percent marks (80 marks).
• Candidates with permanent disabilities requiring special assistance during the Written Examination/Test must inform SPSC at least seven (07) days prior to the examination. Such candidates must submit a written application to the Controller Examination in accordance with Regulation 58(A) of the RMR, 2023, along with an attested copy of the disability certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities-DEPD), Government of Sindh, and a special CNIC for disabled persons issued by NADRA. They must also produce the original valid disability certificate and CNIC to the In-charge of the Examination Center on the day of the examination, or no assistance will be provided.
