Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Junior Clerk (BPS-11) position must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (at least 2nd division) from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Technical Qualification: Must possess a 6-month certificate course in MS Office from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education / Trade Testing Service Board.
- Domicile: Applicants must hold a domicile of any district within the Karachi Division.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The age of the applicant will be calculated as of the last date for submission of applications. The prescribed age limit for the Junior Clerk position is 21 to 28 years. However, a general age relaxation of 5 years will be granted as per the Sindh Civil Servants (General Age Relaxation) Rules, 2024, Rule 7, and Notification No. SOII (SGA&CD) 564/2011 (Part-II) dated 06.03.2025 issued by the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department.
Selection Process
The selection process will involve a screening test and an interview:
- Screening Test: A general screening test for the graduation category will be conducted by IBA Testing Services (STS) / SIBA Testing Services (STS). Candidates must secure at least 40 marks to qualify.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by the Departmental Selection Committee. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test or interview.

- The initial appointment will be made in accordance with the laws, rules, and policies of the Government of Sindh.
- The terms and conditions of service will be governed by the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and its rules, as amended from time to time.
