Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria for each post:
Junior Clerk (BPS-11)
- Graduation (Second Division) from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university.
- OR a 06-month MS Office certificate from a Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) or Trade Testing Service recognized institute.
Data Processing Assistant (BPS-12)
- Bachelor’s degree (Second Division) in Computer Science/IT or equivalent CGPA from an HEC recognized university.
- OR Graduation (Second Division) with an equivalent CGPA in Computer Science/IT Diploma from an HEC recognized university.
Computer Operator (BPS-12)
- Bachelor’s degree (Second Division) in Computer Science/IT or equivalent CGPA from an HEC recognized university.
- OR Graduation (Second Division) with an equivalent CGPA in Computer Science/IT Diploma from an HEC recognized university.
Stenographer (BPS-14)
- Bachelor’s degree (Second Division) or equivalent CGPA from an HEC recognized university.
- 06-month certificate in Shorthand and English Typing from an SBTE recognized institute.
- Shorthand speed of 120 words per minute.
- Computer English Typing speed of 35 words per minute.
- MS Office certificate from an SBTE recognized institute.
All applicants must have successfully passed the general screening test conducted by the Sindh Testing Service (STS) for their respective graduation category, securing at least 40% marks. They must possess the STS certificate issued for this purpose.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The age limit for all positions is 21 to 28 years. Age relaxation of up to 5 years will be granted as per the Sindh Civil Servants (Age Relaxation) Rules 2024, Rule 7, and Notification No. SOII (SGA&CD) 564/2011 (Part-II) dated 06.03.2025.
Important Instructions
- The recruitment process will adhere to the quota system, rules, and policies of the Government of Sindh.
- Appointments will be made under the policies notified by the Government of Sindh on 26.04.2023 and the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973, as amended from time to time.
