About Forensic Scientist (DNA & Serology)
Punjab Forensic Science Authority is hiring for the post of Forensic Scientist (DNA & Serology) (6 posts) in Lahore.
The Forensic Scientist (DNA & Serology) performs DNA profiling, blood typing, and other serological analyses on biological evidence to aid in criminal investigations. This position is offered on a contract basis for three years, renewable.
Requirements for Forensic Scientist (DNA & Serology)
Applicants for Forensic Scientist (DNA & Serology) require a Master's degree in Molecular Biology or related fields with relevant forensic laboratory experience and specific coursework.
- Education (Option 1): MS or M.Phil. (second division) in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Forensic Science or Virology or Immunology or Microbiology or Molecular Genetics from an HEC recognized university.
- Education (Option 2): MSc (Hons) (second division) in Entomology or Immunology or Biological Sciences from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: Three years' relevant experience in an accredited forensic laboratory.
- Mandatory Coursework: Four credit hours each in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Population Statistics from an HEC recognized university.
