Punjab Forensic Science Authority is hiring for the post of Forensic Scientist (Crime & Death Scene Investigation) (1 post) in Lahore.
The Forensic Scientist (Crime & Death Scene Investigation) is responsible for processing crime scenes, collecting evidence, and documenting findings related to criminal and death investigations. This position is offered on a contract basis for three years, renewable.
Requirements for Forensic Scientist (Crime & Death Scene Investigation)
Applicants for Forensic Scientist (Crime & Death Scene Investigation) require a Master's or Bachelor's (Hons) degree in various scientific or engineering fields with relevant forensic laboratory experience. Only male candidates are eligible to apply.
- Education (Option 1): M.Sc or B.Sc (Hons.) (second division) in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or Physics or Biology or Forensic Science or Pharmacy or Micro Biology or Molecular Biology or Molecular Genetics or Biotechnology or Bioinformatics or Agronomy or Horticulture or Entomology or Soil Chemistry or Plant Breeding & Genetics or Food Technology or Food Nutrition or Economics from an HEC recognized university.
- Education (Option 2): B.Sc. (second division) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: Three years' relevant experience in an accredited forensic laboratory.
- Gender: Male only.
