Incharge / Deputy Manager (PMO)

The Incharge / Deputy Manager (PMO) is a project-based position on a contract basis, initially for up to 2 years or until project completion, whichever is earlier, with potential for extension by mutual consent. This role involves comprehensive project management in naval architecture and shipbuilding, including supervision, technical oversight, and detailed reporting.

Applicants for Incharge / Deputy Manager (PMO) must possess the following:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture / Shipbuilding / Marine / Mechanical Engineering from HEC recognized institute.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years' relevant professional experience, including minimum 5 years' experience in ship design, new building, shipyard supervision, technical consultancy or construction.
• Skills: Experience in FATS, HATS, Inclining experiments and Sea trials; ability to prepare technical reports, Deviation Reports, Risk Assessments and milestone recommendations.
• Additional Preferences: Experience with commercial vessels, container / feeder vessels (approx. 1000 TEU or above); demonstrable experience in supervision/technical management of at least 1 vessel newbuilding project; strong experience in hull structure, block fabrication, Erection, dimensional control, welding / NDT and coatings; proven experience in review of GA, structural, stability, cargo securing and production drawings; working knowledge of class rules, IMO / SOLAS / MARPOL, Flag requirements and Ship Building Standards.
• Availability: Must be available for regular / need based attendance at Shipyard, subcontractors, or designers or relevant OEMs.
• Language: Good command of written and spoken English.
