Eligibility and Qualifications

To be eligible for the Junior Commissioned Officer (Army Education Corps) position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, or Gilgit-Baltistan.
• Marital Status: Married or unmarried male citizens.
• Age:
  • For civilian candidates: 20 to 28 years as of February 28, 2027.
  • For candidates already serving in the army: 20 to 35 years, with 1 to 16 years of service.
• Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
• Educational Qualification: Minimum BS/Associate Degree in Science in any of the following subjects:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Biology (Zoology/Botany)
  • Geography
  • Computer Science
  • Commerce

  Candidates with BS and MS qualifications will be given preference.

Selection Process

The selection process for Junior Commissioned Officer (Army Education Corps) involves several stages:

• Initial Test: An initial mental and psychological test will be conducted at the respective selection center.
• Written Examination: Successful candidates from the initial test will appear for a written examination. This test will cover subjects such as English, Urdu, Islamiyat, General Knowledge, History, and one special subject chosen by the candidate from the list of eligible academic fields (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Geography, Computer Science, Commerce).
