• Husbandry Professional (Animal Husbandry)

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet specific educational and experience criteria for each role. General requirements include physical fitness, discipline, and a strong commitment to service.

DVM (Veterinary Doctor)

• Education: DVM degree from a recognized university.
• Registration: Must be registered with PVMC.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Strong clinical and surgical skills.

Vet Assistant (Veterinary Assistant)

• Education: FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent, along with a Diploma/Certification in Vet Assistant.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Skills: Knowledge of animal first aid & care.

Lascar Groomer (Dog Handler & Groomer)

• Education: Matric or equivalent.
• Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in dog handling and grooming.
• Attributes: Physically fit and animal-friendly.

Dog Trainers (K9 Trainers)

• Education: Matric or equivalent.
• Certification: Professional dog training certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in training working dogs.
• Skills: Knowledge of obedience, aggression control & tracking.

Husbandry Professional (Animal Husbandry)

• Education: Matric or equivalent (minimum), Diploma/Certificate in Animal Husbandry preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in animal care, feeding & management.
• Skills: Knowledge of animal nutrition, hygiene & general husbandry practices.
