Systems Administrator (OG-II / OG-I)

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the bank's IT infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

• To be able to manage the centralized endpoint security solution, including antivirus (AV), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) systems.
• To be able to manage upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and patching activities related to all ongoing projects and assignments.
• To be able to manage and implement security standards, including encryption and security certificates.
• To be able to perform backup activities and conduct routine hardware and software audits and ensure compliance with standards, policies, and OEM configuration guidelines.
• To be able to monitor system performance and implement necessary changes for performance enhancement, ensuring maximum uptime and seamless service delivery from production systems.
• To be able to promptly escalate any procedural anomalies or suspicious activities in accordance with established procedures.
• To be able to implement, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Failover Clustering.
• To be able to maintain and manage virtualized environments.
• To be able to plan and implement changes related to SIEM solutions for integration and management.
• To be able to manage Active Directory, Exchange Server 2016/2019, user administration, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• To be able to manage Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019, including Active Directory user management.
• To be able to manage day-to-day operations of SCCM, DNS, DHCP, and the Root CA server, as well as administer certificates installed on Windows-based applications.
• To be able to remediate vulnerabilities on Windows-based servers based on Vulnerability Assessment (VA) findings.
• To be able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers and related devices, diagnose the root cause of incidents escalated by other teams, investigate where necessary, and provide appropriate solutions.
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Applicants for Systems Administrator must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering and possess relevant experience in systems administration.

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent, or a Master's degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent, from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan. Relevant certification(s) will be preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 03 years of experience in Systems Administration, preferably in bank(s).
• Skills: Ability to work within a cohesive, high performing, closely knitted team. Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills. Proficient in MS Office suite.
