Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications and physical standards to be considered for these positions:
For SI (BS-14) and A.SI (BS-11)
- Minimum Qualification: BA/B.Sc. or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Physical Standards:
- Minimum Height: 5 ft-7 inches for males, 5 ft-2 inches for females.
- Chest: 33×34½ inches for men only.
- Endurance Test: 01 Mile run in 07 minutes for males & 10 minutes for females.
For Constable (BS-07)
- Minimum Qualification: Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Physical Standards:
- Minimum Height: 5 ft-7 inches for males, 5 ft-2 inches for females.
- Chest: 33×34½ inches for men only.
- Endurance Test: 01 Mile run in 07 minutes for males & 10 minutes for females.
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must produce the following original certificates/documents at the time of the interview:

- Affidavit duly countersigned by respective Deputy Commissioner in case of applying against minorities (non-Muslims) quota.
How to Apply for Ministry of Interior Islamabad Capital Territory Police Jobs 2026:SI, ASI & More
- 1 Applicants must apply only online through the websites www.npftas.pk or www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
- 2 The cut-off date for age calculation is September 2, 2026.
- 3 Each applicant is required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.2000/- per application/per post for processing and tests.
- 4 The fee can be paid through the 1Link-1Bill Service via any Bank/ATM/Internet Banking/Easypaisa/Jazz Cash/U Paisa/TimePay using a 24-digit PSID generated from the online application portal.
- 5 If applying for more than one post, candidates must pay the fee for each post separately.
- 6 Candidates applying for multiple posts will undergo the physical test only once.
- 7 Applications submitted by hand, courier, or any other channel apart from the online portal will not be entertained. No documents/photos/forms are required to be submitted in hard copy until the interview stage.
- 8 No relaxation in height, chest, and age will be granted to any candidate.
- 9 Applicants must provide accurate information. Provision of false information will lead to legal proceedings under Section 420/468/471 PPC (forgery/fraud/cheating) and imprisonment up to seven years.
- 10 Candidates must disclose any involvement in criminal cases on the online application portal and submit an affidavit at the time of interview. False declarations will result in cancellation of application and debarment from future police posts.
- 11 Transgender persons can apply as per their self-perceived gender identity in accordance with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2018, and as gender mentioned in CNIC.
- 12 Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
- 13 Candidates applying under a family claim (son/grand-son, daughter/grand-daughter of a serving/retired/deceased police employee) must provide complete documentation (FRC, pension book, retirement order, etc.) at the time of interview.
- 14 Verification of character and academic antecedents will be conducted. Any bogus/false information or criminal record will lead to immediate withdrawal of selection and discharge from service if found after employment, along with legal proceedings.
- 15 Details of examination centers are available on the application portal, where candidates can select two test centers priority-wise. However, the final designation of the center is at the exclusive discretion of ICT Police.
- 16 Candidates are advised to wear joggers or suitable shoes and bring their own drinking water for the endurance test. They must get medically checked from Government or District Hospitals for fitness before the endurance test and bring the medical report.
- 17 Only candidates who qualify the physical/endurance and computer-based/written tests will be called for an interview. Failing any stage will result in disqualification.
- 18 The Departmental Recruitment Board (DRB) will re-verify physical standards at the interview. Any deficiency will lead to disqualification.
- 19 Candidates with higher qualifications will be given preference at the interview stage only.
- 20 Final selection requires a complete medical examination by the medical board/Civil Surgeon of the Federal Government. Candidates with Hepatitis B & C or other perpetual ailments will be disqualified.
- 21 Selected candidates must accept the Rules/Regulations governing conduct, discipline, promotion, retirement, and other ancillary matters framed by the Government.
- 22 No TA/DA will be admissible for written/computer-based tests, physical/endurance tests, skill tests, or interviews.
- 23 Candidates will be informed about updates via the application portal/SMS/email. Regularly check the portal for updates.
- 24 Applicants must provide an active mobile number that is not converted to another network.
- 25 ICT Police reserves the right to modify/cancel the number of posts and advertisement/recruitment instructions at any stage.
