Constable

The Constable role is fundamental to frontline policing, involving direct interaction with the public, maintaining peace, and enforcing laws under the Islamabad Capital Territory Police.

• Perform patrolling duties and respond to emergency calls.
• Assist in maintaining public order and security.
• Enforce traffic regulations and assist in crime prevention activities.

Applicants for Constable must hold a Matric qualification from a recognized board and meet specified physical standards.

• Education: Matric from a Recognized Board.
• Physical Standards:
  • Height: 5'7" for male candidates and 5'2" for female candidates.
  • Chest: 33"-34 ½" for male candidates only.
  • Vision: 6/6 with or without glasses; Near vision not less than J-1.
  • Running: Male candidates shall complete a distance of 1.6 kilometers within 07 minutes, while female candidates shall complete the same distance within 10 minutes.
