Eligibility and Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for these roles:

Assistant Sub Inspector Prison (BS-11)

• Qualification: Graduation at least in 2nd Division from any HEC recognized University.
• Minimum Physical Standard:
  • Height: 5 Feet x 5 Inches
  • Chest: 33 inch x 34.5 inch
  • Vision: 6/6 in both eyes
  • Candidates shall complete 1.6 kilometers running in 07 minutes time.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 28 years.

Lady Assistant Sub Inspector Prison (BS-11)

• Qualification: Graduation at least in 2nd Division from any HEC recognized University.
• Minimum Physical Standard:
  • Height: 5 Feet
  • Vision: 6/6 in both eyes
  • Candidates shall complete 800 meters walking in 14 minutes time.
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 28 years.

Important Notes for Applicants

• The actual verification of original certificates will be done for candidates called for an interview. Any incorrect or false declaration will lead to automatic disqualification.
• Candidates already in Government Service can apply through the proper channel, provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the expiry date will not be entertained.
• Only candidates who qualify the physical test will be called for a written test by Pakistan Testing Service (PTS). Test venue and date will be communicated separately.
• Date, time, and venue for all tests will be intimated via SMS and call letters on the PTS website.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the test or interview.
• Minority Quota will be observed as per Government of Sindh policy.
• No relaxation in the upper age limit is allowed.
• The Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts.
• Selected candidates will undergo training and may be posted anywhere in Sindh.
• Final selection is subject to a medical fitness certificate from an authorized Government hospital.
• Candidates with a criminal record, fake documents, or physical disability will be disqualified.
