Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Junior Clerk position must fulfill the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in 2nd Division from any University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (14 years of education).
- Six (06) months certificate course in MS Office from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education/Trade Testing Board.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 28 years of age. An upper age relaxation of five (05) years will be granted as per Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of upper age limit) Rules 2024 and notification No.SO-II(SGA&CD)564/2011 (Pt.II), dated 06-03-2025. The age will be calculated from the closing date of application submission.
- General Screening Test: Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of respective categories, with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS), and possess its certificate, issued by STS, as required for appointment to the mentioned post.
- Domicile: Candidates must hold a domicile of the Province of Sindh.
Important Instructions
- The share of quota reserved for initial appointments will be adhered to as per the law/Rules/Policy of the Government of Sindh.
- Applicants already in Government Service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments prior to submitting their application. The original NOC must be presented at the time of the interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.
- Appointments will be made according to the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023 and under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and its rules, as amended from time to time.
- Applicants will be required to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with their original documents for the interview, as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
- No Traveling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be admissible for attending the interview.
