CMIT Government of the Punjab Daily Wages / Contingent Basis Jobs 2026

CMIT, Government of the Punjab, has announced new job opportunities for various positions on a daily wages/contingent basis. These CMIT Government of the Punjab Jobs 2026 are open to suitable Pakistani Nationals from the Punjab Province. The hiring will be for a period of 89 days, in accordance with the Policy framework for Work Charge Employees, Daily Wages, and Contingent Basis staff.

Prospective candidates are invited to apply for roles such as Driver, Chowkidar, Mali, Naib Qasid, and Sanitary Worker. The application deadline is August 24, 2026. All positions require applicants to be literate, with specific experience requirements for some roles. Note: The age limit for Retired Govt. Servant applying for the position of Naib Qasid is 65 years.

Eligibility and Qualifications

All applicants must meet the following general criteria:

• Be a Pakistani National.
• Hold a domicile of Punjab Province.
• Be literate.

Specific qualifications and experience for each post are detailed below:

Driver

• Education: Literate.
• Experience: Must possess a valid driving license with at least five years of driving experience.
• Skills: Ability to maintain a logbook.

Chowkidar

• Education: Literate.
• Experience: Relevant experience is preferred. Preference will be given to retired army personnel.

Mali

• Education: Literate.
• Experience: Relevant experience in gardening will be preferred.

Naib Qasid

• Education: Literate.
• Experience: Relevant experience is preferred.
• Age Exception: Retired Government Servants applying for this position can have an age limit of up to 65 years.

Sanitary Worker

• Education: Literate.
• Experience: Relevant experience in sanitary work will be preferred.

Terms and Conditions

• Applications must be submitted with a recent photograph, attested copies of CNIC, domicile, and relevant experience/educational certificates.
• The application must reach the office of Section Officer (General), Government of the Punjab, CMIT, Lahore by 24.08.2026 till office hours.
• A valid contact number must be mentioned in the application.
• Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted at CMIT, 10th Floor Tower-C, Old P&D Building, Lahore. No separate call letter will be issued.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
• Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date and time will not be entertained.
• Candidates must bring their original documents at the time of the interview.
• The applicant must be a resident of Punjab Province.
• The hiring of staff is purely on a daily wages/contingent basis and does not confer any right to regular or contract appointment. Such hiring will not be regularized under any circumstances.
