Eligibility and Qualifications

Registrar (BS-20)

Applicants for the Registrar position must possess a strong academic background and extensive experience in administrative or teaching roles within a recognized institution.

• Option 1:
  • Education: Ph.D. in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Eight years of post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute/university recognized by HEC or public sector organization.
• OR
• Option 2:
  • Education: MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Ten years of post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute/university recognized by HEC or public sector organization.
• OR
• Option 3:
  • Education: Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Twelve years of post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a public or private institute/university recognized by HEC or public sector organization.

Treasurer (BS-20)

Candidates for the Treasurer role require specialized qualifications in finance, commerce, accounting, or economics, coupled with significant relevant experience.

• Option 1:
  • Education: Ph.D. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Eight years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• OR
• Option 2:
  • Education: MS or M.Phil. (second division) in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Ten years of post-qualification relevant experience.
• OR
• Option 3:
  • Education: MBA in Finance or M.Com or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. in Economics (second division) or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Twelve years of post-qualification relevant experience.

Controller of Examinations (BS-20)

The Controller of Examinations position demands strong academic credentials and substantial experience in teaching or administrative roles, preferably with examination-related responsibilities.

• Option 1:
  • Education: Ph.D. in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Eight years of post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a Public or Private Institute or University recognized by HEC or Public Sector Organization.
• OR
• Option 2:
  • Education: MS or M.Phil. (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Ten years of post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a Public or Private Institute or University recognized by HEC or Public Sector Organization.
• OR
• Option 3:
  • Education: Master’s degree or BS (second division) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute or university.
  • Experience: Twelve years of post-qualification teaching or administrative or professional experience in a Public or Private Institute or University recognized by HEC or Public Sector Organization.

Last Date to Apply

The closing date for the submission of online applications is October 12, 2026. Hard copies of the applications must reach the university by October 15, 2026, before 04:00 PM.

Application Fee

A non-refundable processing fee of PKR 5000/- is required for each online application. This fee must be paid via a system-generated bank challan in favor of the Treasurer, Thal University Bhakkar.

• The competent authority reserves the right to grant age relaxation as per policy.
• For individuals who have served in government or public sector universities or the armed forces of Pakistan, the period of such service will be excluded for upper age limit calculation.
• The university reserves the right to withdraw any post, reject any or all applications without assigning any reason, and this decision will not be challengeable in any court of law.
• In case of any conflict, the university Act, Statutes, Rules, and Regulations shall prevail.
• The university may increase or decrease the number of posts/positions as per its requirement and budget availability.
• No application will be received by hand.
