Skills Lab Coordinator

The Skills Lab Coordinator will be responsible for managing and organizing the skills lab, ensuring its smooth operation for practical training. This includes overseeing equipment, maintaining records, and assisting students and faculty with clinical procedure simulations at Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences.

Applicants for Skills Lab Coordinator must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Medical Technology, Biomedical Sciences, or a relevant health-related discipline from a recognized university. A minimum of 2 years of work experience in the same capacity is required. Candidates should have a basic understanding of common clinical procedures such as BLS, CPR, Vital signs, injections, IV cannulation, catheterization, and wound care. The incumbent should also have the ability to maintain stock registers, consumable records, equipment logs, maintenance schedules, and procurement requirements.

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Medical Technology, Biomedical Sciences, or a relevant health-related discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in the same capacity.
• Skills: Basic understanding of common clinical procedures (BLS, CPR, Vital signs, injections, IV cannulation, catheterization, wound care). Ability to maintain stock register, consumable records, equipment logs, maintenance schedule, and procurement requirements.
