Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for these Secondary School Teacher positions:

• Domicile: Only local/domiciled candidates of District Killa Abdullah are eligible to apply.
• Age Limit: The upper age limit for all positions is 55 years.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Secondary School Teacher (Science – Physics): BS (Physics) 4-year degree or Master’s degree in Physics from a HEC-recognized university.
  • Secondary School Teacher (Science – Chemistry): BS (Chemistry) 4-year degree or Master’s degree in Chemistry from a HEC-recognized university.
  • Secondary School Teacher (Science – Biology): BS (Zoology) 4-year / BS (Botany) 4-year degree or Master’s degree in Zoology/Botany from a HEC-recognized university.
  • Secondary School Teacher (Science – Mathematics): BS (Mathematics) 4-year / BS (Statistics) 4-year / BE (Engineering) degree or Master’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics from a HEC-recognized university.
  • Secondary School Teacher (General – English): BS (English) 4-year degree or Master’s degree in English from a HEC-recognized university.
• Interchangeability Clause:
  • For Mathematics posts, if candidates with BS/MSc in Mathematics are unavailable, candidates with BS/MSc in Physics will be considered, and vice versa, within the same Union Council. Preference will be given to the BS/MSc in the relevant subject.
  • For Chemistry posts, if candidates with BS/MSc in Chemistry are unavailable, candidates with BS/MSc in Biology will be considered, and vice versa, within the same Union Council. Preference will be given to the BS/MSc in the relevant subject.

Important Instructions

• These appointments are on an adhoc basis, in accordance with the Balochistan Government’s Adhoc Teaching Staff Recruitment Policy 2026.
• Government employees must apply through the proper channel and upload a copy of their application on the job portal.
• The vacancies are advertised based on verified information from the District Education Officer, Killa Abdullah. No changes will be accepted.
• Details of school-wise vacancies are available on the School Education Department’s job portal and the Government of Balochistan website.
• Merit lists will be prepared based on urban/rural areas (Municipal Corporations, Municipal Committees, Union Councils). Separate merit lists will be prepared for disabled persons and minorities at the district level.
• Candidates must provide four attested copies of their educational documents, verified by HEC. Degrees from unapproved institutions will lead to disqualification.
• The merit list will be valid for one recruitment cycle only.
• Married female candidates can apply based on their husband’s domicile, provided the husband’s name is on their CNIC and Nikah Nama. Applications based on father’s domicile will not be accepted for married women.
• The department reserves the right to cancel or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
• Adhoc appointments will be for a maximum period of one year or until the Adhoc Teaching Staff Recruitment Policy 2026 concludes, whichever comes first.

Ranking Criteria and Weightage Formula

The final merit list will be prepared based on the following weightage formula:

Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in their academic qualifications to be considered for the merit list. These adhoc appointments are non-transferable.
