Assistant Professor of Periodontology

The Assistant Professor of Periodontology will be responsible for teaching and academic duties in the Periodontology department at Quaid-e-Azam Medical & Dental College, on a 3-year contract basis.

Applicants for Assistant Professor of Periodontology must meet one of the following sets of criteria:

• Option 1: BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC with postgraduate qualifications (MDS or equivalent) in the relevant subject. Teaching experience preferred, with credit for original research work published in a standard medical/dental journal.
• Option 2 (if Option 1 not available): BDS of equivalent dental qualification recognized by PMDC with postgraduate minor diploma qualifications in the relevant subject, AND 3 years teaching experience as Demonstrator in a recognized institution after postgraduate qualifications. Credit for original research work published in a standard Medical/Dental Journal.
• Option 3 (if Option 2 not available): BDS or equivalent dental qualifications recognized by PMDC, AND 10 years teaching experience as Demonstrator in the relevant subject, AND at least 3 research papers published in a standard dental/medical journal while working as Demonstrator.
