Assistant Manager (Cyber Security)

The Assistant Manager (Cyber Security) will contribute to the protection of the organization's enterprise IT systems and networks. Key responsibilities include supporting security engineering, monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, technical assessment, and continuous improvement of security controls.

This position is temporary but is likely to be continued for an indefinite period, with appointment on Contributory Pension Fund (CPF) or Provident Fund (PF) basis.

Applicants for Assistant Manager (Cyber Security) should have essential qualifications and hands-on experience in the cyber security domain, along with relevant certifications.

• Education:
  • Essentials: BE/BS (1st Division) or equivalent from an HEC recognized reputable University.
  • Disciplines: Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience in the Cybersecurity domain.
• Core Certifications (at least one of): Offsec Certified Professional (OSCP), Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Security, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst (CySA), CompTIA PenTest, GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN).
• Desirable Certifications: Networking, Linux, Microsoft, firewall, SIEM, satellite communication, or RF-related certifications.
• General Conditions: Only one 2nd division allowed in entire educational career; final degree must be 3.0 CGPA. No 3rd division allowed. Engineers must have PEC registration.
