The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced exciting opportunities for a Procurement Specialist in 2026. Eligibility Criteria for Procurement Specialist
Education Required:
- Master Degree or equivalent (minimum sixteen years of education) in business, engineering, procurement, logistics management, or supply chain management; or equivalent.
- Diploma or certification in procurement, supply chain management, or project management will be accorded due weightage.
Experience Required:
- At least eight (08) years of documentary verifiable experience, after acquiring stipulated qualifications, in procurement of Goods, Works, Consulting & Non-consulting services.
- Knowledge and implementation experience of various international/national/subnational public procurement rules shall be accorded due weightage.
- Must have proficiency in English.
- Proficient in the use of computers (MS Office, Project Management Tools etc.).

- The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
