About HPC (High-Performance Computing Infrastructure) Expert
Pakistan Meteorological Department is hiring for the post of HPC (High-Performance Computing Infrastructure) Expert in Islamabad.
This expert will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure within the PMD project, from strategic planning to operational management.
- Plan and oversee the procurement of HPC infrastructure components.
- Manage and maintain operational HPC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide expert consultation on HPC solutions and their application in meteorological services.
Requirements for HPC (High-Performance Computing Infrastructure) Expert
Applicants for the HPC (High-Performance Computing Infrastructure) Expert role must possess:
- Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Computational Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in planning, procuring, and managing High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure. This includes direct responsibility for comparable operational HPC systems and involvement in at least two comparable projects.
