Responsibilities of the Head Coach

The Head Coach will provide professional services to the Pakistan National Women’s Cricket Team, focusing on enhancing performance and fostering a winning culture. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing comprehensive game plans and strategies.
• Overseeing pre and post-tournament preparation and evaluation.
• Implementing performance enhancement programs to improve international ranking.
• Improving fitness standards with the support of dedicated staff.
• Facilitating team excellence and augmenting individual skills to ensure consistent performance in international competitions.
• Developing a sustainable team culture that aligns with international requirements.

Required Education and Experience

Candidates applying for the Head Coach position must meet the following educational and experience criteria:

• Education: Minimum Level III Cricket Coaching Accreditation.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of coaching experience with Elite National/Domestic level Cricket teams, demonstrating a proven track record of enhancing performance in these roles.
• Coaching Acumen: Proven experience in successfully coaching athletes/cricketers to meet required international standards.
• Strategic Skills: Strong planning, organizing, and executing capabilities, with high competence in developing team and individual skills enhancement strategies.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluating systems and processes currently in use in the international arena.
• Performance Management: Ability to set Key Performance Targets (KPTs) for Players and Coaches, coupled with consistent monitoring and evaluation.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Communication: Superior persuasion skills combined with integrity, prudence and professionalism; strong written and oral communication skills.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
