About Managing Editor
National University of Medical Sciences is hiring for the post of Managing Editor in Rawalpindi.
The Managing Editor will be responsible for overseeing the editorial process of academic publications, ensuring quality and adherence to research standards.
- Manage academic publications and editorial processes.
- Contribute to peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Review research grant applications and academic papers.
- Work in academic management within public/private/autonomous organizations.
Requirements for Managing Editor
Candidates for Managing Editor should possess a Ph.D/ M.Phil. in Community Medicine or an MBBS degree, coupled with significant experience in academic management and research publication.
- Qualification: Ph.D/ M.Phil., preferably in Community Medicine with basic degree of MBBS from HEC recognized University/ Institution. Preference will be given to higher qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 10-15 Years relevant experience including 5-7 years of working experience in academic management in reputed public/ private/ autonomous, national or international organizations. Experience as Managing Editor of Peer Reviewed Multidisciplinary Journal will be preferred. Minimum 10-15 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Demonstrated experience as a reviewer for peer-reviewed national and international journals and research grant applications.
