The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is recruiting for the following positions:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specific qualification and other requirements for each post:

• Stenotypist (BPS-14):
  • Qualification: Intermediate.
  • Skills: Minimum speed of 80/40 w.p.m. in shorthand/typing respectively. Must be computer literate.
• Upper Division Clerk (UDC) (BPS-13):
  • Qualification: Intermediate.
  • Training: 03 weeks Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office conducted by NITB after selection before completion of probation period).
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (BPS-11):
  • Qualification: Matric.
  • Skills: Minimum typing speed 30 w.p.m.
  • Training: 03 weeks Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office conducted by NITB after selection before completion of probation period).
• Driver (BPS-04):
  • Qualification: Primary pass.

Age Relaxation

A general age relaxation of five (05) years will be allowed for all posts. Additionally, another five (05) years of age relaxation will be admissible for candidates from Balochistan, as per Government policy/rules.

Important Notes

• The recruitment process will follow criteria/mechanism defined by the Establishment Division.
• Selected candidates will be required to submit a Medical Certificate.
• Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for walk-in-interviews or interviews, respectively.
• Skill relaxation is available for posts requiring trainable skills like typing or basic computer proficiency (Sr. No. 01 to 03). Selected candidates must acquire proficiency through departmental training during the probation period.
• The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process or change the number of posts without assigning any reason.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
