Appointments will be strictly on a work charge basis (75 days) under the Wage Rate Schedule 2025, approved by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab. Appointments are extendable based on good performance.
Recruitment will be based on merit as per government recruitment policy and work charge / contingent paid staff rules. These appointments are temporary and do not grant any right to permanent appointment or regularization.
Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff will be utilized as needed during the financial year.
Selected Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff may be posted in any Market Committee Office, Vegetable & Fruit Market, or Grain Market as per requirement.
Candidates with prior experience in a Market Committee will be given preference.
Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff will receive a monthly salary according to government-prescribed rates.
No leave will be granted to Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff without prior notice.
The competent authority reserves the right to terminate the services of Work Charge / Contingent Paid Staff at any time.
