Gilgit Baltistan Police is hiring for the post of Sergeant in Gilgit.
The Sergeant will serve in the Counter-Terrorism Unit (CTU) of Gilgit Baltistan Police on a two-year contract. This role involves active participation in specialized counter-terrorism operations and tactical duties.
- Participate in tactical operations as part of a specialized team.
- Execute assigned duties related to explosives, sniping, or counter-IED operations.
- Maintain operational readiness and proficiency in specialized skills.
- Follow orders and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the unit.
Requirements for Sergeant
Applicants for Sergeant must be retired SSG Commandos or former military personnel, meeting the specified age limit and eligibility criteria.
- Eligibility: Retired SSG Commando / Ex-Military Personnel
- Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
- Contract Duration: 2 years (non-extendable)
- Skills (Preferred): Precision Engagement, Advanced Explosives & Breaching, Tactical Instruction (CQB, Explosives, Sniper), Counter-IED Operations, Mountain Warfare & High-Altitude Operations, Close Quarter Battle, Tactical Operations Command.
