Manager IFRS-9 & Risk Analytics (AVP-I/AVP)

The Manager IFRS-9 & Risk Analytics will be responsible for overseeing and implementing IFRS 9 related processes and models, providing crucial insights and analytics to senior management.

• Managing & implementing the ongoing quarterly production of IFRS 9 expected credit losses using ZTBLS Model, whilst providing insight and analytics.
• Developing additional IFRS 9 ECL models and/or PD/LGD scorecards to widen the Bank's product offerings.
• Enhancing IFRS 9 model monitoring and management information packs to allow Bank's senior management to understand new and potentially even more complex products and investments.
• Providing the lead in setting out and cascading IFRS 9 standards and requirements to the Bank's due diligence teams and processes.
• Working with ZTBL's finance team to ensure relevant journal balance movements reconciliations, MI reports, and annual report/accounts entries are produced in line with IFRS 9 and financial reporting timelines.
• Monitoring ongoing model inputs, assumptions, and data for successful model output.
• Working as a team in the development of new models and back testing of existing models.
• Providing and presenting advanced analytical insights to business teams and Senior Stakeholder, explaining new technical concepts, and ensuring IFRS 9 standards are cascaded and met across the organization.
• Any other task assigned by the management.

Applicants for Manager IFRS-9 & Risk Analytics must possess a Bachelor's degree from an HEC recognized institution or a relevant professional qualification, coupled with significant experience in banking and IFRS-9.

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree from HEC recognized Institute/University (National/International). Professional qualification like CA, ICMA (partly qualified) will also be eligible.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years' experience in Bank/Financial Institutions, including at least one year of relevant experience in IFRS-9 implementation and reporting.
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
