About Assistant Programmer / Network Administrator (BPS-16)
University of Sahiwal is hiring for the post of Assistant Programmer / Network Administrator (BPS-16) (1 post) in Sahiwal.
The Assistant Programmer / Network Administrator will be responsible for LAN/WAN design and management, server administration (ADS, DNS, DHCP, etc.), Cisco network configuration, and system troubleshooting. This is a contract-based position.
Requirements for Assistant Programmer / Network Administrator (BPS-16)
Applicants for Assistant Programmer / Network Administrator must have a relevant IT degree and experience in network management and administration.
- Education: BS CS (4 years), BS IT (4 years), BS Software Engineering (4 years), MCS, M.Sc. IT or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized Institute/University
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in LAN & WAN design and management in a public/private sector organization with a large number of nodes. Hands-on expertise in ADS, DNS, DHCP, SMBA, FTP, Apache, ISA, Exchange, Email and Proxy servers on Windows and UNIX/Linux Platform. Excellent in Cisco switches and routers configuration. Very good hands-on network troubleshooting/performance issues in Window/Linux system, Backup and Recovery tools, Windows Installation.
