Eligibility and Qualifications

Common Physical Standards:

• Male:
  • Height: 5 feet 5 inches (minimum)
  • Chest: 33 inches (minimum), with 1.5 inches expansion
  • Physical Endurance Test: 1600 meters run in 8 minutes
• Female:
  • Height: 5 feet (minimum)
  • Physical Endurance Test: 800 meters run in 14 minutes

• 18 to 28 years, calculated as of October 15, 2026.

Post-Specific Requirements:

Head Constable (Wireless Operator) (BPS-09)

Applicants for Head Constable (Wireless Operator) must possess an Intermediate qualification from a recognized board.

Police Constable (BPS-07)

Candidates for Police Constable positions are required to have a Matriculation certificate from a recognized board.

Important Instructions

• Applications will be considered based on the Sindh Police (Shaheed, Deceased, Permanently Incapacitated/Disabled Quota) Recruitment Rules-2021.
• Only legal heirs of Shaheed employees who were martyred before June 11, 2014, as per the Shaheed Act 2014, will be considered for the Shaheed quota.
• Candidates whose parents passed away or became incapacitated before September 2, 2002, will not be eligible for recruitment under the deceased/incapacitated quota.
• Applicants whose parents passed away or became incapacitated on or after September 16, 2014, and whose applications for the deceased/incapacitated quota were rejected within two years of the employee’s death, must re-apply.
• Original certificates will be verified only for candidates called for test/interview. Providing false information will lead to disqualification at any stage.
• Recruitment will be conducted according to the 2021 rules, specifically for the reserved quota categories.
• No online applications will be accepted after the last date of submission.
• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• No relaxation will be given in age limit or eligibility criteria.
• Information regarding test/interview dates, times, and venues will be communicated via SMS and the Sindh Police website. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the portal/website for updates.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
• The Sindh Police Department reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
