The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Trauma and Emergency Response Institute (SBBTERI) in Quetta is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon on a purely temporary/locum basis. This role involves performing thoracic surgical procedures within a 150-bedded state-of-the-art trauma centre.
This engagement is temporary and does not confer any right to permanent employment.
Requirements for Thoracic Surgeon
Applicants for Thoracic Surgeon must possess an FCPS or equivalent PM&DC-recognized postgraduate qualification in Thoracic Surgery and a valid, full permanent registration certificate from PM&DC.
- Qualification: FCPS or equivalent PM&DC-recognized postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty.
- Registration: Valid, full permanent registration certificate from PM&DC.
- Experience: Preference for candidates with tertiary care/trauma setting experience. At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field for major procedures, and at least 2 years for minor procedures.
