Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Chief Executive Officer reports to the Company's Board of Directors and is responsible for overall leadership and strategic direction of Punjab Grid Company Limited.

• Actively work to support the growth of the Company's business through expansion of the power market in the province and country.
• Responsible for extension in the network, development, and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives to achieve performance targets set by the provincial government and the Board.
• Provide vision and leadership for the development of a progressive company and building dedicated and energetic professionals, future leadership, and succession planning.
• Engage with stakeholders and other players in the sector at top levels by having close liaison with the regulator, federal government, relevant agencies in other provinces, private sector investors, financial institutions, and bulk power consumers.
• Keep abreast with market development initiatives like Competitive Trading Bilateral Contract Market (CTBCM) and the role of the company.
• Diligently monitor and supervise its core teams for ensuring a profitable company on a long-term basis.

Applicants for Chief Executive Officer must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 20 years of post-qualification experience in the power sector, including 5 years at a senior management level.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (minimum). Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Business, or Project Management from HEC recognized/accredited universities (preferred).
• Experience: 20 years post-qualification experience in the power sector, with 5 years at a senior management position (CEO or directly reporting to CEO). Experience in transmission utility, contract management, power sector regulatory affairs, and tariff matters will be given preference.
