Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Director Infrastructure & Projects position must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a well-recognized university.
• Experience: At least 20 years of relevant professional experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or project management environments.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
• Knowledge: Well-versed with PPRA rules & regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

• Reviewing and authorizing claims, invoices, change orders, and variation requests in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Ensuring projects are delivered within approved budgets and obtaining necessary approvals for any budget variations.
• Ensuring that all operations comply with legal requirements and established regulations.
• Assisting in troubleshooting construction issues.
• Ensuring that all materials used for work meet specifications and consultant recommendations.
• Maintaining complete and accurate project documentation and records.
• Staying informed of emerging developments, technologies, and best practices relevant to infrastructure and project management.
• Managing and monitoring the progress of projects.
