Assistant Professor of Bio Statistics

The Assistant Professor of Bio Statistics will be responsible for teaching and practical training in Biostatistics at the Institute of Public Health Lahore, on a contract basis.

Applicants for Assistant Professor of Bio Statistics must meet one of the following sets of criteria:

• Option 1:
  • Education: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC, OR M.A or M.Sc (Statistics or Biostatistics).
  • Postgraduate Qualification (in order of preference): D.Sc or Ph.D or M.Phil or M.S/M.Sc (two years duration) or other equivalent qualification recognized by the Council.
  • Experience: Three years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Demonstrator or equivalent position recognized by the Council, OR five years practical experience in the field of Biostatistics.
• Option 2 (if no suitable candidate with Option 1 is available):
  • Education: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Council, OR M.A or M.Sc (Statistics or Biostatistics).
  • Postgraduate Qualification: D.P.H or M.P.H or M.A/M.Sc (Statistics or Bio-statistics) (one year duration) or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Council.
  • Experience: Three years teaching experience in the specialty in a recognized institution as Demonstrator or equivalent position recognized by the Council, OR five years practical experience in the field of Biostatistics.
