Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, risk assessment, and compliance with internal controls. This role requires experience in the development sector and familiarity with international donor organizations.

Applicants for Internal Auditor must be a Chartered Accountant or hold a 16-year education in Finance/Auditing/Accounting/Commerce, with relevant post-qualification experience in internal audit and related areas.

• Education: A Chartered Accountant or 16 years of education in Finance/Auditing/Accounting/Commerce or a relevant discipline.
• Experience: In general, 5 years of post-qualification relevant work experience in matters related to internal audit, internal controls, risk assessment, fiduciary control. Preferably 3 years of post-qualification experience working in similar projects/assignments, in similar capacity and in organizations with comparable conditions. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills and strong IT and data handling & analysis skills would be considered an advantage. Experience of working in development sector and with international donor organizations would be preferred.
