Deputy Director

The Deputy Director will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and investment management, for the Gilgit-Baltistan Government Servants Benevolent Fund and Group Insurance Department on a contract basis.

• Handle finances and accounts.
• Design and implement effective accounting policies.
• Manage efficient fund management, planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
• Finalize accounts and prepare financial statements according to regulatory requirements.
• Utilize automated accounting applications for record keeping.

Applicants for Deputy Director must hold a relevant Master's degree and possess significant experience in financial management.

• Education: CA/ICMA/ACCA/MBA (major in Finance)/M.Com/MS in Accounting and Finance from an HEC recognized university/institute.
• Experience: 5-10 years' experience in handling finances, accounts, designing & implementation of effective accounting policies, efficient fund management, planning/budgeting, and monitoring.
• Skills: Fully versed in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements as per regularity requirements. Proficient in automated accounting applications for record maintenance. Experience in investment research, treasury, and financial management is an added qualification.
